Flipping through a fashion magazine,
I got hypnotized by this ad for MaxMara



I couldn't stop staring at the photo...
...something about her expression...
I kept turning back to it.







Of course, now I'm noticing her all over.





She's just a neato, confident tomboy,
who loves rock and roll
(namely PJ Harvey, Janis Joplin, and Jeff Buckley),
and talks about feminism all the time.







Mostly, she stands out to me,
because all the other models have this stupid open-mouthed empty-eyes stare that i can't stand.
she doesn't seem to do that.
She doesn't seem blank.









Erichsen has 16 tattoos, the first of which she got at age 16.
Her tattoos include "float", written on the left side of her neck,
an upside down triangle on the back of her neck,
a circle behind her right ear,
a cross on her right earlobe,
"Serendipity is Life" written on the back of her upper right arm,
a revolver on the inside of her upper left arm,

a star on her upper left torso (just under her armpit)
and a lightning bolt her upper right torso.









born October 18, 1987 in Roskilde, Denmark.
Discovered on the street by a modeling agent passing by in a taxi.
now, she lives in New York.
